Celebration of love

Happy Birthday cake
The Romanian version of a Happy Birthday cake
Today is a special day where I get to indulge in a trillion calories chocolate cake. Twice! It's a very well known fact about me that I am a chocolate freak and I never miss an opportunity to stuff my face with the mentioned delicious hip hater so today cannot get better.

My little humble blog has just upgraded its status from a baby to a toddler as on 8th of March 2012, a silly seaman mom, decided she's got "writing talents" and needs to constantly stress the whole world with her killer skills.
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, my sweet, little blog! I love you as if you were actually my second baby! We've spent such wonderful moments together and you've been by my side always, for better and for worse. Let's keep growing together and have more and more fun, with each year!

And then, there's also Mother's Day in Romania so since I am a mom, I get to be spoiled once more (as if I need a special day for that, duh!).
Although the Mother's Day is supposed to be a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood and the irreplaceable influence of mothers in society, in Romania became more like the Women's Day. Because we all become mothers one day, right? Or at least one hopes. So why not celebrate all women in advance to help them get used to the big "spoiling" thingy that comes with motherhood, hehe.

So I've got few little things for the closest mothers in my family, my sister and my mommy. Nothing fancy but something to show them I love them and keep them close to my heart, always.

Mom's got a little colorful, cozy duvet to keep her warm until the winter will be completely gone that I could just not put my camera on, no matter how much I tried, nothing seemed to be able to do right to its beauty. As for my baby sister, what better way to put a smile on a girl's face other than cosmetics.

Happy Mother's Day to all Romanian girls!!!
